Devin Bean

Devin is sixteen years old and is the second of five children in his family. He, his older brother, and younger brother have all completed and graduated from the DARE program in sixth grade.

He also has another younger brother and sister waiting to go through the program as well. His older brother set a good example for him, and now Devin is glad to be a Youth Advisory Board member so he can set an example for others.

Devin has gone through the DARE program twice, has taken health classes, and understands the dangers of drugs and violence. He knows that living the DARE principals can help everyone to be happier and live a great life!

Devin loves music and loves to sing, play the piano, and participate in band and choir. He also performs in theatre and participates in the speech program at his high school. He has maintained a 4.0 in his classes and uses all of these wonderful extra curricular activities to keep himself completely free from the influence of drugs and violence!

Devin hopes that by being drug free himself, he sets the example for youth to set and achieve goals.
