DARE TO CARE GALA D.A.R.E. America celebrated its eleventh “Dare to Care Gala” on December 1, 2010 at New York City’s elegant Metropolitan Club on Fifth Avenue. D.A.R.E. honored Susan M. Baer, Director of Aviation, The Port Authority of NY & NJ with the Future of America Award
And, Chazz and Gianna Palminteri, Academy Award winning star and his producer wife, with the American Dream Award
Chazz Palminteri Members of CAP 21, teachers in the D.A.R.E. Dance program, sang a rousing medley of songs and sixth grade student and D.A.R.E. grad Giana Poppo performed her own song, about the power of D.A.R.E.
