DARE nets $2,800 from Home Show

GALESBURG —Galesburg DARE raised over $2,810 at the Sandburg Mall 2009 Home Show on March 8, 2009. A playhouse built by Steve Geitner of Geitner Construction was donated by the Western Illinois Builder’s Association to the DARE program to raffle. The winner of the playhouse was Sue Craig of Abingdon.
Angie Buchen, Galesburg, was the winner of a DARE bicycle. WIBA also awarded $100 gift certificates to Marcy Copeland, Fred McKee, Virginia Fuson, Barbara Ferris and Todd McKee.
All proceeds from the raffle benefit Galesburg drug education awareness. |
