The event was held at Wrights Chapel United Methodist Church in Caroline County which is north of Richmond. The Virginia DARE Officers Association hosts this event each year with this one being the fifth anniversary. The goal is to bring in less fortunate families and provide a meal, entertainment, and gifts to each. |

Virginia Beach Sheriff Paul Lanteigne recently drew top honors for leading his department's effort to prevent drugs and violence in Virginia Beach schools.
Lanteigne was named DEA/DARE
Law Enforcement Executive of the Year and was honored at the Drug
Enforcement Administration and Drug Abuse Resistance Education national
