D.O.T. GRADUATES

A very successful D.O.T. training. New agencies are Granit Falls P.D. North Carolina, and Bertie Co. Sheriff's Officer North Carolina.

Facilitator was Randy Kirkman from K.O. DARE Training Center, Jim Brady from S.C., George Honeycutt from V.A., Carol Schley from N.C., and Michael Adkins from N.C.  The Educator was Janet Hudson from S.C.

Thanks to the N.C. Justice Academy Staff as our host and facility. They did an outstanding job. The NC D.A.R.E. Officers' Association provided funding for materials and Instructors for this training. Retro Bill even shipped us some of his award winning DVDs.

You know you’ve got something good going when you’re the principal of a school whose kids stand up and cheer, fists pumping the air, at the mention of your name. Heritage Elementary Principal George Risinger’s popularity notwithstanding, it was D.A.R.E. program speaker Bill Russ, a.k.a. Retro Bill, who got the kids on their feet.
