D.A.R.E. America Youth Advisory Board Arizona Representative

Outside of school I enjoy recreational soccer, and club track. From my participation in Club track I have gotten to travel to four different states to compete at the regional and national level in the 400 meter hurdles. As well as this I enjoy having fun with my family and friends.

This is my second year as the Arizona State Representative on the D.A.R.E. Youth Advisory Board. Within the past year my own community DARE program was almost suspended due to lack of funding, but thanks to my efforts and those of other kids in our community, we were able to keep the program safe for another year.

I am looking forward to having more the opportunities to influence the lives of children in my community. I myself went through the D.A.R.E. program and I am looking forward to putting my own voice back into the program in the upcoming year.
