Newfoundland
Cst. April JANES has been a dedicated DARE officer for over 2 years. Cst. JANES is posted at the Channel-Port Aux Basque RCMP Detachment and her enthusiasm is reflected in every DARE class she teaches.
The RCMP of Newfoundland and Labrador presently have approximately 35 trained DARE officers serving our large province. In the 2011-12 school year we were able to teach the DARE program in 40 schools, reaching 1138 students in 61 separate DARE programs.
