Frank Pegueros Executive Director & COO

In March, 2005, the D.A.R.E. America Board of Directors appointed Frank Pegueros to the position of Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. 

Pegueros, who has been a Senior Deputy Director at D.A.R.E. America for the past several years, joined D.A.R.E. in 1997 after a distinguished career with the Los Angeles Police Department where his final assignment was as Captain of L.A.P.D.’s D.A.R.E. Division, and Director of the Western Regional Training Center.

Francisco X. Pegueros is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning and Development. He has been conferred with Bachelor of Science and MPA degrees by that institution.

Mr. Pegueros was selected as recipient of the initial Los Angeles Police Department William H. Parker Foundation Fellowship and is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy.
