Tom Hazelton, D.A.R.E. America's President of Program Development is a dedicated executive who has been involved with the D.A.R.E. program for over 25 years.

Mr. Hazelton is a highly-decorated Marine Corps Vietnam combat veteran.  He is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles and holds a graduate degree from the University of Southern California.

He served 25 years with the Los Angeles Police Department, ten years as a Special Assistant to Darrel F. Gates, Chief of Police. 

Hazelton helped establish the revolutionary D.A.R.E. program and has been raising money for D.A.R.E. ever since.

Tom Hazelton has his own production company and has worked as a production executive for Disney's Buena Vista, Paramount Studios and NBC.  He works as a Hollywood consultant for Stephen J. Cannell, Aaron Spelling and Fred Dreyer.
