25th D.A.R.E. INTERNATIONAL TRAINING CONFERENCE
Welcome to the D.A.R.E. International Web Site. Since 1990, police officers from 49 countries have participated in the D.A.R.E. program. The number of countries instructing children in the program continues to grow. In addition to new, fresh and exciting content, this site will provide the International D.A.R.E. community with current and up-to-date information as D.A.R.E. continues its efforts to eradicate drug abuse and violence throughout the world!
D.A.R.E. graduation class from Labrador Straits Academy (grade 5). The D.A.R.E. instructor (and in photo) is Cst. Josee Melanson, of the Forteau Detachment, "B" Division of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
In the 2009 - 2010 school year the RCMP of B Division (Province of Newfoundland and Labrador) was directly responsible for completing 66 D.A.R.E. programs in 43 schools, benefiting 1300 students. |
