A one-week in-service training was conducted in Belo Horizonte, Brazil for 30 Senior Mentors by a team of six US based trainers. The Mentors received training in the kiR Middle School curriculum as well as Facilitation training. Separately, meetings were held with representatives from six of the seven Brazilian Training Centers regarding DARE International's Policy and Procedure Manual

A United States D.A.R.E. training team traveled to Belo Horizonte, Brazil to conduct a mentor in-service. Thirty senior D.A.R.E./PROERD mentors were trained in the Senior High School and "keepin' It Real " middle School curriculum as well as several enhancement lessons.
