Meth Supplemental Activities

Instructions for Applying Meth Supplemental Activities To Elementary and Middle School Curricula.

Using your knowledge of your local community, decide if this activity needs to be inserted in the lesson plan.  It is, like the inhalants activity, designed to provide age-appropriate information and warnings to your students.

It should not take longer than five minutes to deliver the activity, emphasizing you as the students’ resource for help.

There is a natural connection for providing additional information on METH when discussing the student Mel’s overdose.

This activity is designed to engage students in reinforcing their NORMATIVE BELIEFS about METH by having them visibly see each other actively affirming their decision that METH is a very dangerous substance that they want to stay far away from.

These additional resources are excellent if your community and schools feel that there is a need for more educational programs on METH.
