D.A.R.E.
America has assumed the responsibility for coordinating a number
of national training opportunities. The training activities have
been developed to serve two purposes. The courses will assist state
training centers in maintaining required mentor officer resources.
Also, the trainings will supplement the endeavors of state training
centers.
There is no tuition for these courses and all instructor materials will be provided at no cost.
Financial assistance, in the form of a grant not to exceed $300.00,
may be requested to apply for travel costs for participants that
have a one-way commute of more than 600 miles. Expense forms will
be available at the training for this reimbursement.
