October in Bullying Prevention Month

D.A.R.E. is proud to support students, parents and the many organizations that are actively participating this October in Bullying Prevention Month. The D.A.R.E. curriculums and D.A.R.E. officers for many years have worked to bring an end to bullying, with anti-bullying and cyber bullying lessons offered to enhance the primary D.A.R.E. curriculum. With the introduction of the new D.A.R.E. keepin’ it REAL curriculum, bullying lessons have been incorporated into the main program.

Since 2006, Bullying Prevention Month has been dedicated to raising awareness regarding the issue and providing resources to students, parents and those that work with students. D.A.R.E. joins those who have committed to creating an environment where it is understood by all that bullying not acceptable behavior.
