Universal Rag, a leader in the clothing recycling business since 2001, is a long-time partner with the D.A.R.E. program.  Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Universal Rag is recognized as an innovator in the recycling industry and is our partner for D.A.R.E. bins in California.

The funds raised by Universal Rag in California are used to train new D.A.R.E. police officers, provide ongoing training to existing D.A.R.E. officers, and assist in the purchase of books and other supplies needed for the classrooms.

The efforts of Universal Rag not only assist the D.A.R.E. program but proactively divert used clothing and shoes from landfills.
